Raw Eggnog

Christmas Time Is HERE!!!

My mom and I were walking through our local grocery store and mom looked over at the eggnog which was displayed in the refrigerated section! It's a tradition to get my dad eggnog every  year but of course this year that was NOT an option!

Well I was thinking about making some anyway and had been trying to figure out what ingredients could make up this delightful Christmas beverage.

I got home and decided to experiment! IT WORKED!!!!!!! :)

HEALTHY EGGNOG

4 large organic farm fresh eggs
1 cup pure almond milk
1/2 cup amasai (I used milk and honey amasai)
2/3 cup coconut sap/sugar
1/2 cup xylitol
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. sea salt
sprinkle of cinnamon and nutmeg

Separate egg yolks from the whites and place the whites to the side. With a hand mixer mix egg yolks and sea salt together. Add almond milk and mix well. Then slowly add amasai. After almond milk and amasai are mixed in well, add coconut sap/sugar. Beat well until everything is well combined.

In separate bowl beat egg whites until stiff. Add in xylitol and beat even more. Add the white to the yolks and mix that together. Then sprinkle the cinnamon and nutmeg in.

If you want your eggnog to be a maple flavor switch out the coconut sap for 1/2 cup maple syrup.

This recipe is high in protein, B vitamins, amino acids, CLA (top fat burner on the market), probiotics, calcium, antioxidants, LOW in sugar.
