Tuna Salad on a Grain Free Burger Bun

Tuna Salad on a Grain Free Burger Bun

1 can of wild caught tuna/salmon 
1/4 cup chopped celery
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Combine all ingredients in a bowl together until tuna is shredded and mixed.

Grain Free Burger Bun

1 tbsp. coconut flour
1 tbsp. almond flour
1 free range egg
1 tbsp. ghee, coconut oil or butter melted
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Form into two "patties" and place on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. 
You can sprinkle poppy seeds or chia seeds on top with some nutritional yeast if you want.

  2. My try at the buns didn't turn out quite right. The batter was too thin to make patties. I added more coconut flour and made a batter about the thickness of cake batter. I only had enough batter to make one about the size in your picture. Do you have any suggestions? Maybe double the almond and coconut flour?
